Lol I was too busy being shocked by Raeliana's aggressiveness I forgot about the monster appearing, I thought the red eyes was just a wild animal but this huge creature ended up manifesting lol.

Im more suprised Raeliana did't know about any of the fantasy side from either reading the novel or being in the world for this long.

That’s exactly what I don’t get, and why everything about her gets so convoluted sometimes. She knows exactly how this story plays out. She’s read everything about this world from start to finish, and is making use of her knowledge to create her own story where she’s the MC.

So why are there times when she’s surprised by things that she should know? Why are you surprised by monsters and magic, and think Adam is gonna lose? How do you know so much about your would-be killer, but not know anything about his employer? I get it’s supposed to keep suspense, but it honestly just comes across as lazy writing.

the only thing that comes to mind is either she forgot about those aspects(even tho she remembers the book pretty well) or the book was written lazily :) (tho the adam part and surprise factor can be because she knows things will happen but doesnt quite know when since she did change the story a lot by cancelling the engagement, and well even tho you know someone is strong you would be worried a lot if you saw a monster you never saw or remembered existed)

The only thing i can think of is that the novel she read didn't focus on the fantasy elements so it slipped her mind. Kind of like Game of Thrones, but without Jon's, Danny's, or Arya's POV (which are are the POVs with fantasy focus). Not to mention, she is the MC now, so story elements will change.

The focus of this story is romance so monsters are probably just dlc they have guns, electricity and other civilized products that exist in our world.

The timeline of this world will be before or in the industrial revolution age idk maybe there's some like war stuff will happen, but those are just dlc for avoiding unnecessary plot so the story will not go all over the place like

It might be Poison or acid potion which is lethal and it can trigger some events stuff that might create more explanation or something which is not very fantasy magical blah blah

LOL What?! The way she without hesitation took Noah's gun, chased after Brooks, shot multiple shots, her confidence, like what?! That took me by surprise, I wasn't expecting this side to her personality. Yes, the OP shows her wielding guns, but I thought she might receive some form or training or something but not this. I guess in her world she had gun training? But it was so funny to see everyone just shocked by what they witnessed lol.

Jake's character was so weird, he witnessed his sister's death and just brushes it aside for money? The writing there was so weird. It would have been more convincing if he was upset by it and it made him aggressively berate Brooks to get money for him, it wasn't convincing for me.

Lol I can't wait to see Raeliana's reaction next episode waking up to a topless Noah beside her, that will be fun. It was nice to see that he has a great body, not unexpected but definitely appreciated.

I am liking how both of them are definitely developing feelings, with Noah getting angry on her behalf and Raeliana feeling embarrassed and relieved in Noah's arms. I wonder if Raeliana will find out Noah had those two "taken care of" considering she tried to get them captured alive, I know Taylor won't say anything lol.

I would be surprised if she had indeed had gun training in her previous life since I'm fairly certain that guns are illegal for civilians in Korea. ^^;

Actually she mentions it in episode 1 in the scene where she's hunting with her (former) fiance but I always thought she was talking about her life in Korea / Japan not Raeliana's past.
